Physicist · founder of Redexe
A theoretical physicist who has been applying physics to markets since 1997 — and who has now handed his firm's routine over to AI agents, to focus on the one thing a model cannot do alone: building the new models.
The origin
A Physics degree from the University of Padua, theoretical track. His thesis applied a spin model to asset management: using the physics of collective systems to understand markets, before econophysics even existed as a discipline. Everything that came after — the Ising-model trading systems, the tail-risk measure, the agents — starts there.
The method has never changed: markets are complex systems of imitating agents, and they must be treated with the right tools — statistical mechanics, heavy-tailed distributions, simulation. And every hypothesis is declared first, to be judged after.
Redexe
In asset management since 1997. In 2008 he founded Redexe as a spin-off of an asset management company, with one precise idea: bringing the rigour of physics to where financial decisions are made — measuring instead of opining.
Redexe produced the RedES™ risk measure (Pareto-Lévy stable statistics for extreme events, peer-reviewed in Springer in 2014 and in Financial Markets and Portfolio Management in 2019, tested on more than 3,000 equities) and Robomanagement™, the term he coined in 2018 for the virtualisation of an entire management team into software — also presented in a lecture at Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
In 2019, before the generative-AI boom, he took neural networks into production for fast-fashion trend prediction: the press-documented story behind his "AI before AI".
In the summer of 2026 he took the step few have taken: he entrusted all Redexe clients to Lisa, the dedicated AI agents built on the quantitative platform. Today he focuses on research, development and escalation — for a theoretical physicist, he says, the perfect job.
Today
The evidence
The verifiable milestones, with their dates:
The other half
A multi-instrumentalist — classical and electric guitar, ukulele, keyboards, violin — with years of arrangements and compositions published online well before the AI era. In 2026 the two paths converged in Alma Hale: a virtual artist whose lyrics, composition and artistic direction are his, while artificial intelligence gives her voice and presence. The same questions as physics — simple systems, complex behaviour — asked, this time, of creativity.
And the writing: in 2018 he published Amore Fisico ("Physical Love", in Italian), a poetry collection where LHC collisions, light and the event horizon become love verses, woven into the prose that tells their story. Written entirely by hand, with QR-code "augmented" content — when generative AI did not yet exist. Craft first, agents later: the style is the same.
FAQ
A theoretical physicist (University of Padua) active in asset management since 1997, sole founder of Redexe SRL in 2008. He is the author of the RedES™ risk measure and of the Robomanagement™ framework, with peer-reviewed publications. Since 2026 Redexe clients are served by the AI agents he designed; he focuses on research and supervision.
To bring the method of physics — measure, model, verify — to where financial decisions are made. Redexe was founded in 2008 as a spin-off of an asset management company, and has been providing software and data processing to institutional clients ever since.
They are the other half: a long-time multi-instrumentalist and author of the poetry collection Amore Fisico (2018, written entirely by hand), in 2026 he created Alma Hale, an art project where the writing is human and the performance is AI. Physics, finance, music and poetry share the same question: how complexity emerges from simple rules.

LinkedIn is the channel: messages are read and answered by him — not by an autoresponder, and not even by Lisa.
